Following on from the release of FlatOut 2 in 2006, the next generation debut of the FlatOut franchise on Xbox 360 in 2007 resulted in an even more successful campaign than its critically acclaimed predecessor. A dedicated Specialist Gaming campaign resulted in 178 pages of editorial coverage with audience reach figures of over 82 million, along with an equivalent advertising rate card value of over £228,000. Review scores across the board were universally high including 4/5 from Games TM and 360 Magazine, 89% from 360Zine, 8.9/10 from CVG and 85% from GamesMaster just a few of the highlights. Released in the same period as high profile releases such as Sega Rally, Colin McRae Dirt and Forza 2, FlatOut Ultimate Carnage more than held its own with a Top Ten chart debut.
