Released on PlayStation 2, Xbox, PC and PSP, the aim of the campaign was to establish the Pro Stroke franchise as the most realistic golfing game on the market. The Specialist gaming media recognised this as evidenced by the review scores; 84% from Play Magazine, 8.1/10 in Official Xbox Magazine, 7/10 in Games TM, 9/10 on Total Videogames.com. PSW Magazine summed it up best however - "The PES of golf games..." 7/10
